One For Good Promise

Botanica donates $1 from the sale of our Signature Line to region specific non-profits working toward the goal of ecological, societal, and environmental sustainability. Check out our One For Good page to learn more about our current beneficiaries for each of the product we sell.

Our goal is to select a mix of large and small non-profit organizations that are really on the ground doing the work of their mission every day. Our non-profit recipients are vetted by CharityWatch to ensure that the large majority of contributions received are allocated to charitable efforts by the organization, not CEO salaries or advertising/marketing costs.

Returns & Exchanges
RETURNING UNWANTED ITEMS:

We accept returns of unwanted candles, incense, and home products purchased from botanica.co within 21 days of item receipt. Please note that we do not accept returns on body products–this includes perfume, lotions, soaps, and showering products. To initiate your return, please email us and include the order number found on your original email receipt. You may ship your items to us in unused/unopened condition for a direct credit return of your purchase price via your original payment method. Please note that your original shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you did not purchase your products from botanica.co, please contact the store of purchase for their return process and refund policies. We can not refund purchases made from third-party-sellers.

DAMAGED ITEMS:

If your item has arrived damaged or defective, please email us and we will accommodate a replacement.

We do not accept returns on final-sale items.

Privacy Policy

Botanica will never share, sell or distribute your contact or transaction information to any third party. The information we collect is only used as necessary to contact you about your order. Transactions on our site are secured using 256-bit SSL encryption and your credit card information is never stored. We reserve the right to cancel any order which raises concerns regarding the security of Botanica or our customers.

General FAQs

Candle Care 101

Trim Your Wick

Before each light, trim the wick to about 1/4″ using scissors or a wick trimmer. This gives your candles the longest burn life, and ensures your flame is staying a safe height.

Burn Time

Keeping your candles lit until the entirety of the surface pools is the best way to prevent tunneling, and also extend its lifespan.

Safety

Never leave a lit candle unattended, and keep away from drafts. Keep your candle on a heat resistant surface–our glassware can get hot while your candle is burning, so take care if you need to move it while lit.

Reuse It!

We designed our glassware with a smooth lip and flat base to make the ideal drinking glass once your candle is used through. When your candle is finished, clean out the jar and reuse the tumbler for drinking, a planter, vase, pencil cup-whatever!

Custom Products

We collaborate with a few clients per year on private-labeled or co-branded candle collections. Using your favored fragrance notes and providing our own expertise, we craft the perfect blend for your company or storefront. Keep in mind, custom candles will take a minimum of 8 weeks from proposal to receiving your final product in-hand. As we can only book a few custom projects as our production schedule allows, please contact us at your earliest convenience to get your project on the books!

Order Processing + Shipping

Most orders are processed and shipped within 1 business days of purchasing, with the exception of wholesale orders that may take up to 3 business days to dispatch depending on scale. Please allow an additional 3-4 business days of processing time the week proceeding the Thanksgiving holiday. Christmas delivery cut-off dates will depend on the region of delivery- please check UPS.com for their current schedule. (We ship from zip code 65251.) Please contact us directly if you are in need of your order by a specific date.

We currently offer UPS Ground shipping for all domestic orders. We can ship to PO Boxes via USPS for an additional $5 fee– email us to include that service on your order. Tracking information will be emailed to you via UPS when your order has been dispatched, and will also be included on your order history. We are not responsible for carrier delays due to inclement weather or re-routing errors due to incorrect address submission.

International customers may contact us with order requests to receive an estimate specific to their location. International buyers may also elect to ship with their own UPS, FedEx, or DHL Account. (Note that the buyer is responsible for all associated tariffs & customs fees.)

Do you charge Sales Tax?

For online sales, we are not required to charge sales tax to recipients outside of the state of Florida. Florida residents are required to pay the standard rate (6.5%) on their orders. Any custom orders picked up at and/or paid for at our studio in Vero Beach will be subject to standard Florida tax rates. (6.5%)
